Practical Test
The test will last approximately 40 minutes. You will be asked to read a number plate from a set distance. The examiner will ask two questions about the basic mechanical nature of the vehicle starting with either 'show me' or 'tell me'.
Clitheroe School of Motoring will fully prepare you for this aspect of your test and will supply you with a full list of possible questions and answers. You will be asked to do one of the following manoeuvers:
- Reverse round a corner
- A turn in the road
- Parallel Park
- Bay Park
- and also possibly a controlled (emergency) stop
You will be asked to drive independently for ten minutes by following road signs to various places and by following a set of directions shown on a diagram. On the test you will drive on various road conditions with various speed limits.
